Layla Jabbari

Layla Jabbari is an artist and printmaker based in Hull where she tutors with Feral Art College. Layla uses print to create inky illustrations that move and tell stories about the world around her. Layla is currently part of a residency with Artlab print studios based at the University of Central Lancashire. Her work was highly commended in the Trinity Buoy Wharf drawing prize 2026, she came third in the SCAF Emerging Artist Award and was shortlisted for the Flourish Awards for Excellence in printmaking in 2025 and 2026. Layla won the Ironbridge Printmaking Today Prize, 2025.
